Friday, 3rd July
18:00 Welcome Dinner by the river. No early.

An evening of good wine, slow conversations, and the first gathering of friends and family before the celebrations begin.
The dinner will take place on a covered terrace by the river, so the evening will go ahead even if it rains.
Dress Code: We originally suggested light colours such as white, cream, beige, and other soft neutrals. However, as mountain weather can be unpredictable, please feel free to wear darker colours or bring a warmer layer if rain is expected. Our priority is for everyone to feel comfortable while celebrating with us.

Dress code for the wedding: cocktail attire.
The main venue has a solid concrete surface, though some areas are grassy. For your comfort, ladies may wish to opt for block heels, wedges or elegant boots.

Sunday, 5th July
08:30 – 11:00 Breakfast

After breakfast, we will split into two groups. One group will head into the Retezat Mountains for a hike, while the other is welcome to stay by the river, relax at the guesthouse, or explore the surrounding area at their own pace. We'll all come back together for our Farewell Late Lunch & Early Dinner in the Orangerie.
Group 1
09:00 Journey to Poiana Pelegii, Retezat National Park
We’ll drive together toward the Retezat Mountains (approximately 1h 16m, accessible by any type of car).
Hike Lacul Bucura — a gentle alpine adventure through one of Romania’s most spectacular mountain landscapes. We’ll hike past Lacul Bucura, the largest glacial lake in Romania, surrounded by dramatic peaks, wildflower meadows, and crystal-clear mountain air, before continuing toward Vârful Peleaga, the highest summit in the Retezat Mountains.
Hiking equipment: hiking shoes, rain jacket, backpack, whistle, headlamp, fleece top, and a spare T-shirt for changing during the hike.
A picnic will be shared near the peak. Lunch pack provided by the ladies from Pensiunea Retezat.
Please note that children are warmly welcome to join the hike.
Return to Base.

Chill by the river

Relax by the river with drinks, snacks and good company.
15:00 - 19:00 Farewell Late Lunch & Early Dinner [Group 1 & Group 2]

A relaxed goodbye dinner to close the weekend: one last table, one last toast and a beautiful ending to our time together in Retezat National Park.
